In the presence of the Iranian Minister of Communications, Dr. Hashemi, the Iraqi Minister Mustafa Sanad, and the Iraqi Ambassador, Dr. Yasser Abdul Zahra, the Scientific Camp exhibition was held in Tehran. The exhibition revealed the extent of the scientific and technical progress achieved by the Islamic Republic of Iran despite the crippling siege imposed upon it by the United States. 350 companies specializing in electronic industries, artificial intelligence, robotics, and their applications in daily life participated in the exhibition. The university delegation, represented by Dr. Mohsen Al-Qazwini, founder of the university, Dr. Basem Al-Aqabi, Assistant to the University President, and Dr. Hassan Al-Aridhi, Rapporteur of the College of Engineering, met with the heads of companies manufacturing high-tech products in the Islamic Republic. They exchanged experiences and information regarding the transfer of technical development from Iran to Iraq to support its efforts in keeping pace with the developments of the present era, which has become known as the era of artificial intelligence.
